These articles belong to our series, “Defining and Dismantling Anti-Black Racism in Neuroscience.” The goal of this series is to provide the tools to recognize, question, call-out, and begin to dismantle anti-Black racism in science. In this series, we examine the relationships among science, politics, and our societal value systems and explore how each part of the scientific process is touched by and vulnerable to anti-Black racism and white supremacy. As scientists and science enthusiasts, we have a responsibility to dismantle white supremacy in science.
This series was created in partnership with Black in Neuro, with generous funding from the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute and Stanford Biomedical Association for the Interest of Minority Students (BioAIMS).
